This painting is very beautiful and well thought out

This painting is very beautiful and well thought out. Before watching the video, I did not understand who anyone in the painting was. Raphael left little clues about who each person was, as he did in all his paintings. He also formed two groups of people within his painting with Plato and Aristotle in the center. On the right were many people who believe what Aristotle believed and on the left were people who believed like Plato in terms of Philosophy. Most of the rest of the people were in smaller groups having conversations together. These people were shown to be talking and learning from each other. I believe he was trying to say that even though we have different opinion we all need to communicate and work together, because we all have the same goal in the end. There are so many different little things hidden in this photo that would not be understood by someone who does not know the history that goes a long with the photo.
