The history of Airbus A380 took place in the early 1990s, when the European manufacturer noticed the development and the success of a competitor to the Boeing 747. Hence, Airbus launched engineering development work on aircrafts. In June 1994, they designed the A3XX. Furthermore, Airbus studied the new design configuration for the A3XX with the serious consideration to a single deck aircraft, that had seated 12 twin vertical tails and abreast. Nonetheless, Airbus determined upon a twin deck configuration, because of the lightly required structure. The point behind designing it, is to enable the using of airports’ infrastructure with no adjustment to the airports themselves
