My duties as a care assistant include giving service users personal care such as assisting with showering and dressing, toileting requirements, including pad changes and catheter care.
Nutritional requirements such as, assisting with a meal. It is also my responsibility to ensure that service users maintain a good standard of health and to promote their well being. As well as making them feel safe, respected and at home. My responsibilities as a care assistant include following company policies and procedures, and making sure they are carried out correctly. To follow what has been agreed in my contract of work, by signing and agreeing to this it is my legal responsibility to do so.
