In life there are many situations where rebellion is required for change and improvement. Some are simple, like growing up and learning not to do certain things and others are more complex like when a group of people stand up for what they believe, for example, women’s rights and black’s rights. However, the way that society today is being mined controlled, distracted, and influenced into being afraid of defying high authority is taking a huge toll into the way we live & view the government.
Therefore, I do not believe that modern proletariat will ever rebel against the government. For that reason, this paper with examine the ways of how mind control, distraction, and fear affect the chances of modern proletariat challenging against the government. In my opinion, distraction is one of the main ways that the government makes sure we as the “future of the world” don’t challenge them.
For example, everyone knows who the Kardashians are, their stories are all over the Internet. It’s almost impossible to open a search page anywhere that doesn’t have one or more daily updates on what at least one of the Kardashian clan is doing. But how many of us can say that we know about the new “Zero Tolerance” law put into order at the border where the separation of nearly 3,000 children from their parents occurred in just a week? Well that’s because we’re always too busy on our phones and focusing on when the next major celebrity scandal will happen to even notice actual world- wide problems. But is it really our fault?
