Eating is one of the best past times that everybody loves. Cookout vs Chick-Fil-A which one is better? Both places are pretty good, or so it seems. In my opinion, between the two, Cookout has the better food and beverages. People all around the world eat at Cookout; but some say that Chick-Fil-A is preferred more. Most colleges and universities have a Cookout located on their campus and students eat there just about every day. In some areas, Cookout is better than Chick-Fil-A; like in Durham, NC Duke University is Cookouts’ biggest fans (Atkinsin). High school students often go to Cookout more than Chick-Fil-A in big areas like Durham, NC. Researchers say that Cookout is cheaper regardless of what you get (Atkinsin).
Next, we will see which fast food restaurant is really the best. Chick-Fil-A was established during 1967 by its’ founder S. Truett Cathy (Chick-Fil-A Corportation). Cookout which was founded in Greensboro NC in 1989; is located all over the work in more than 20 cities with over different locations (Creel). The reason people go to Cookout more than Chick-Fil-A is because Cookout is open every day as compared to Chick-Fil-A; they are not opened on Sundays. According to their webpage, Chick-Fil-A’s original owner decided to close the restaurant so that he and his workers could have a day off to go to church or do whatever else they like doing (Chick-Fil-A Corportation). On the contrary, Cookout believes being open and available to their customers any day of the week to keep their customers happy and satisfied with their services.
It is true that people like different things about both places – Chick-Fil-A and Cookout. Of course at Chick-Fil-A they are popular for their chicken sandwich. That is their bestselling food and people enjoy eating there for that. On the other hand, Cookout is popular for their burgers and different flavor milkshakes they sell that everyone loves so well. Both restaurants have something that people enjoy about them, but Cookout offers more items that they are known for. So when you go to Cookout to eat you have more than chicken to choose from. Good thing is that both business have found the right income for making sure that they will stay open and not close in the next 10-25 years.
Meanwhile choosing between both restaurants was very challenging for myself and my classmates. When we all come to the debate on which is better; we have to also look at which place is healthier. With this debate my classroom should take in consideration what both restaurants have to offer to the community. Chick-Fil-A offers scholarships to students that is in high school and college (Chick-Fil-A Corportation). Cookout offers meal deals to big families that come there. They both show manners and respect to their customers. Chick-Fil-A replies to customers after receiving services with a “My pleasure” which sounds better to others than when Cookout says “You are welcome.” It would be nice for people to find other ways to say thank you and you are welcome; sometimes that makes a difference in the service that you get. Both places hire people in the community which also helps the community grow.
In conclusion, both restaurants have pros and cons. They both are popular fast food restaurants located all across the world. Each restaurant has something to offer and they are both helpful to the communities around them. It was a pleasure to find out these fun facts about each restaurant.
