A process is when we do certain things in a specific order all that time that we have to do it repeatedly and at the end of doing this process repeatedly we have the intentions to have created some value by doing the task repeatedly. A good example of a process is getting a oil change every other month, by doing this repeatedly every other month this will allow your car to have a longer life cycle and it will run a lot smoother so there’s to benefits here. One is giving your car longer life span so you wouldn’t have to invest in another car so soon and potently your car will have less problems and saving you money and it will run a lot smoother.
Project is more about creating something new or making any type of change to an existing project or any steps that where used on that old project, a project can be temporary or can be done in a certain giving time frame.The first phase of a project is having a team that will be and could work together to carry out the project. I feel like another important thing is making sure that the team understands the projects definition, initiation, project execution, project monitoring and the project closure. And what is expected of them and how important it is for them to work together and listen to each other.
Every Project has its stages, that can involve activities that could help the project from the 1st idea all the way to the conclusion and closure. I feel that it is important that everyone understands that each phase plays a big part on the overall success of the project. The Phases of a Project- Is to make sure that the project fulfills the administrivia compliance and eligibility criteria, and that the criteria shows whether the project complies with requirements and with the time line that has been giving to them.The Phases is Project Initiation- This is the first phase of the projects life cycle, during which the project have to be identified, selected, and authorized.Project planning- Is when the team or even contractor if there is where they have to make sure they have enough time to plan the project out and this will also help them to make sure, they have everything that they need to make the project and this will also allow the team to make sure that everything goes according to the plan that has being created for them to follow and they can even add some wiggle room just in case anything goes wrongProject execution- In this phase is where the team builds on the project and the team members are focused on the task that were given to them. they can start to work on their task or getting everything ready for them to do so. Project monitoring and control- This phase goes in hand with the project execution plan because this will also help them work on there giving task and they will have to make sure they are spending enough time on their giving task, And by monitoring their own progress this will really help them to see if they are sending enough time or to much time on there task and they can make any changes that have to be made.
Project Closure- In this last phase is normally where the project is finished, this will also give the team members to take the last view on the project, and if they can make changes to the project if they needed to. And if they don’t like something about the project before it is presented or delivered, and if the team likes everything about the project then they can go head and deliver it or present it.
