Introduction
Everyone want them city to become one of the sustainable cities in the world. Sustainability means to be maintaining at certain rate or level. Also it means avoidance of the depletion of natural recourse in order to maintain an ecological balance. Dubai one of the cities that always become with a projects that make them a sustainable city. Dubai makes all of the Dubai authorities to become with sustainable projects. In this research I will discuss about one of the authorities in Dubai that they are innovative in making sustainable projects, which is Dubai Electricity, and Water Authority (DEWA). I choose DEWA because it is always a development authority and have an innovative ideas and projects to make Dubai a sustainable city.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) was formed on 1 January, 1992, by a decree issued by the late Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum to merge Dubai Electricity Company and Dubai Water Department, which had been operating independently before then. Both organizations water and electricity were established by the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum in 1959. Dubai Government fully supported the Electricity Company and the Water Department to provide Dubai’s citizens and residents with a continuous and reliable supply of electricity and water in easiest way. Since then, DEWA has made considerable achievements, to be ranked as one of the best utilities in the world. DEWA provides services today to more than 780,000 customers with a happiness rate that reached 95% in 2016. DEWA opened the first electric charging station in February 2015. Electric vehicles operate on electricity as an alternative for fuel and contribute towards the preservation of the environment, sustainability, and energy conservation. DEWA successfully installed 100 electric charging stations in quarter 4 of 2015, in different areas in Dubai such as shopping malls, airports, commercial offices, residential complexes, gas stations, government offices, and residential establishments, as part of the Green Charger initiative which wiil less impact on the environment. It is help the environment to be clean and it has huge benefits in whole society. It helps or makes the environment clean and also gives the job opportunity for people. EV Green Charging makes fuel sustainable for the next generation because it is a part of earth natural recourse. EV Green Charging encourages the companies to produce and electric car that are save and people will friendly for the environment. Also it has a benefit for the Dubai economy. Dubai economy will have earned profit because people always looking for what are good and safe.

EV Green charging is the better solution for air pollution because fuel has more impact on the environment rather than electric. DEWA project, EV Green Charging project will reduce the carbon dioxin and greenhouse gases that are damage the environment and does not make sustainable. Dubai always looking for the sustainability and development and our duty to part to make it.
