The persons remaining would participate in the survey at 18–19 years old).According to Drijber, Reijnders & Ceelen 2012, between May 2008, and August 2009, male victims of DV no more than 18 years old, in the Netherlands were invited to answer a questionnaire that was specially developed for the study which was linked to a questionnaire. The questionnaire had a total of 15 questions consisting of age and ethnicity of the victim.

(100-150 words Cross- Sectional – The data collection cross-sectional study is from people who are similar in all variables except the one variable which is under study. This variable remains constant throughout the cross-sectional study, Bhat (2018). In the study by (Alsaker, Moen, Morken and Baste (2018) the article used method of questionnaires and conducted the study using persons within the same sex(females) towards the study where two methods of sampling were used consecutively.

Longitudinal – The authors Dupe´re, Leventhal and Lacourse (2009) conducted the study for a period of years. Taking into consideration that when the children were first connected to the study they were of a younger age and in the time extended in the study the children became older. This study takes a long period at times and it can be a very exhilarating study.Qualitative – This research method is not solely dependent on the number system collected but that of unique cases and studies with persons and their environment. 3.What are two major research issues or obstacles involved in sampling? (300-500 words) The major research involved in sampling is Longitudinal Sampling can be time consuming and quite expensive to maintain, because the study is sometimes so lengthy participants may get uninterested and drop out causing data collection material to depreciate over time. In this research study what may also occur is that persons who would have been situated in a specific area when they began the study may choose to move to another residence which may cause reason to drop out of the study.

The study at times can be so prolonged over the years a participant may also die in the process whilst being affiliated in the study because of the lengthy time frame. 4. Explain what a researcher can do to overcome one of these issues/obstacles. (300-500 words) A researcher can choose many different ways in order to avoid or overcome issues/obstacles in sampling. In the case of gaining participants to be motivated and stay in tune with a study depends on how and what the researchers offer or use to help encourage the assistance from persons. The researcher can use means of incentives for continued participation.

One of the first incentives that grasps to the attention and willingness is means of monetary compensation. Once an individual is offered money to stay or be part of a research it allows the person to be actively involved and focused. Lengthy studies can be cut down at times adding a creative a motivating atmosphere and to attempt to seek the participants key interest. It is important for the researcher to assist with any means available to satisfy the participants for their overall interest. References C. Drijber, L.
