Youth is another form of energy

Youth is another form of energy. Without this utilization of energy, no nation can grow and progress, so we call part and parcel of any nation like water is essential to life. Youth is the asset and building block of nation. It is the fact, stronger the youth, stronger the nation. As youth occupies central place, if nation utilize its youth in right direction, then no nation see her with evil eye. The vision of country lies in the hands of youth. They are filled with tremendous and towering ambitions. One has greatly said that
“Youth is a key to nation development”
Pakistan is country which has 68% youth having age 16-20 years. Pakistani youth is very much energetic and ready to do something for the nation. They are optimistic about their role in bringing peace and prosperity in society. But the main reason is that this youth have been exploited in the hands of corrupt, uneducated leaders for 70 years. They lagging behind in every field of life. They have to play important role in country’s progress but due to negligence, they are facing many new challenges in toady society like identity crisis, lack of self-confidence and low self-esteem, a sense of hopefulness and confusion ambiguity concerning moral issues and future. The most impounding problem of our youth which is facing is frustration that monster eater of our youth in very slow manner. They are little bit worried about jobs, education, standard of living, health and many more. These all problems sum-up creating youth frustration.
In the history of Pakistan M.A Jinnah, who was the outstanding and visionary leader of twentieth century, created a state for Indian Muslim’s by power of pen speech and vote. He placed great importance on youth and gave his advice to youth on several occasions.
At public meeting, He said;
“Pakistan is proud of her youth, particularly the students who have always been in the forefront in the hour of trial and need. You are the nation’s leaders of tomorrow and you must fully equip yourself by discipline, education and training for the arduous task lying ahead of you. You should realise the magnitude of your responsibility and be ready to bear it.”
This statement clearly reflects that, what Quaid-i-Azam wanted from youth. But youth has deviated from his vision and principles. He further said that if youth adopts three basic rules in their life i.e. unity, faith and discipline Then no nation see her youth with evil eye. After the death of our Great leader, which was the huge loss to this nation and country.
Other example is Arfa Karim Randhawa who became the world’s youngest Microsoft Certified Professional MCP at the age of nine years old. His talent, confidence, hard work, firm determination and believe in Allah Almighty leads him to success. But this little girl not live long and died. However her legacy will live forever.
There are numerous problems facing by youth today but I want to address some of them. The first problem is of education. Education is the most powerful weapon of any nation. With this they lead their nation towards prosperity and development. The Diogenes who was the Greek Philosopher rightly said;
“The foundation of every state is the education of its youth.”
But the education system lacks quality and skill-based, which is dream of our youth. There is no complete guidance, to select the courses, of their own choice. Education is not unified all over the country and institutes
are distributing the degrees like machine maker which have no value for youth in future in true sense poverty is another distinctive problem in society. Due to unequal distribution of resources not every child get education and pursue their field of interest, so poverty is overall problem of nation.
The most foremast problem is unemployment that youth completing his education, they don’t find job in which fully utilized their energy and talent this is due to negligence of government to utilized youth in true manner.
Owing to poverty and unemployment, parents give priority to labour instead of school, to meet the both ends. In this way we are washing out precious talent in bad companies and immoral activities.
