William Shakespeare’s Macbeth Essay

William Shakespeare’s Macbeth Lady Macbeth’s role in the events of Shakespeare’s play ‘Macbeth’ isan important one. Without her, it is doubtful that Macbeth would havegone through with the slaying of Duncan, especially in such acowardly, murderous way that he does. …f guilt of the murder of Duncan andis furthered by her husbands reluctance to return her affections andinclude her in his evil scheming. The Macbeth’s, as a loving husbandand wife partnership, drift apart and their relationship with oneanother becomes null and void. One of the causes of Lady Macbeth’seventual breakdown appears early within the play, as shown with hersoliloquy in Act 2, scene 2, ‘aˆ¦.Had he not resembled my father as heslept, I had done’taˆ¦.’.
