William Golding’s literature piece Lord of the Flies provides gives a sharp understanding into human nature. In the novel, a group of young boys get into a plane crash on an inhabited island during an outbreak of a world war with no adult supervision. On the island in a society and environment where there are no rules or civility set in place the young boy’s human nature becomes visible.

The moral is that the shape of a society must depend on the ethical nature of the individual and not on any political system however apparently logical or respectable.” Golding expresses how the defects of human nature influence the societal order using a creative approach.
