What would you do if you couldn’t wait to be an auntie or uncle to a child and the doctors said that he or she has a heart problem and does not have a chance of living a long life? Exactly, no one has an answer. People tried to help me cope with the pain I was in after hearing that my nephew wouldn’t be with me very long. It is crazy how many things we take for granted. We make plans everyday but don’t realize that those plans can be taken away in the blink of an eye. Everyday, people are dying for many different reasons but I don’t think anyone really thinks about losing someone until they are actually faced with shocking news. People say that losing a loved one is a great tragedy. I believed them but never realized the horror of it. Death was something beyond my understanding until May 24th, 2016.
