Truth is relative, it is not definite especially in nature. We human beings describe it as something that accurate and makes sense and something that did happen. However, since we as human beings have come into conflict on what the truth really is than that already suggest we have problems defining what the truth is.
Now this is where idealism comes in because truth is based on our world views. How we see the world, according to us is the truth. We cloud our judgement based on our ideals. Idealism which have led to the impacting the world views on a Global scale and has been since the first man was born. The poem “Prayer for Horizon” by Gwyneth Lewis proposes that we should look upon the truth not as unsightly or ugly but see it as a road map that will help guide us within whatever situation is relevant.
