The governance of the NHS are two groups. They are The Empower the Person Board and The Clinical Information Advisory Group. The Empower the Person Board has a role of managing different strategy paths. They work to deliver a good service and provide tools for their patients and the public. Their membership representatives include the Local Government Association. The Clinical Information Advisory Group has got a role of setting editorial and data quality standards for the NHS Choices.The main purpose of the NHS is to provide healthcare for all British Citizens based on need and not the ability to pay. The NHS also seeks to improve the health and wellbeing of patients, communities and its staff through professionalism, innovation and excellence in care.
