Technology nowadays has constantly improves in any ways. So it should not be a surprise if any of these technology substitutes most people jobs in the world. For instance, in factories, company used advanced machinery to conduct heavy duty and has turned out to be the greatest thing that ever happened to mankind. However, there are certain things should be kept traditionally in order to have better tomorrows, such as teachers. Teachers should not be replaced by robots, no matter how far we have come.
Robots cannot replace teachers because they cannot understand students like teachers did. Teacher has considered as students’ parent at school, they always help students by understanding their problem and how to encounter them. If teachers replaced with robots, there will be problems as robot cannot understand humans’ feelings. Robots had been programmed for certain specific things only, and surely they are not programmed to understand our feelings.
Our classrooms are changing, and without a doubt they will look quite changed in five or ten years than they do today. New technologies are being developed quickly, and with so many different actions taking hold, it is yet to be seen what will surprised come be out. One thing we feel strongly about: teachers aren’t going anywhere.
Teachers are not, and cannot be robots handing out information to students. They are leaders, guides, facilitators, and mentors. They encourage students when they struggle, and inspire them to set and reach for their goals. They are role models, leading by example and giving direction when necessary. A computer can give information, but a teacher can lend a hand, or an ear, and discern what’s necessary for a student to succeed, and to want to succeed.
In conclusion it can be said that, technology is going to play a critical role in the future of education. But not as big a role as that of a teacher. Even everyone knows this on a personal level, and can identify a teacher or mentor who has had influence on us or changed our paths in a positive way.
