Pop CultureA variety of different genres make up what we read, listen to and watch in society. Each theme tells a different aspect of how a book is being told. These personal thought come through an individual’s style of how they write. Their writings reflect off of what the theme is based on. Themes are categorized by different subjects in the world. Each theme tends to reflect off their society and how history was made. Pop culture is a big theme that many people read about. This is a culture that describes the taste and lifestyle of the majority of people around the world. Pop culture changes as generations are being made. Some examples include TV actors that are all grown up or different type of music that we listen to. Stories in the pop culture have impacted our society. The readings from pop culture often try to persuade the readers to see what opinions they have to come up with. One story that is a good example is from Christine Seifert called “Bite Me! (Or Don’t): Twilight as Abstinence Porn.” This situation was dealing with couples being romantic to one another without having sex. According Seifert, she sets up a good point when she brought up Stephanie Meyers and her Twilight series. She talks about how Bella and Edward were in a deep relationship, but as the series goes there was no sex involved. In addition, once they actually do have sex many of the readers were disappointed that Meyer added the sexual part of the relationship in the series. … right. The midst of people would think one thing when the whole situation says another thing. The media should receive credit for wrong information. That is telling the people that everything that the media is says is never truthful. The clothes that we wear and shows that we watch reflect off what helps tell who we truly are. The media has a good taste of giving us observations of the latest trends at the time. We are able to embrace certain type taste in music and TV shows because of our o pop culture. Perhaps the easiest thing to do right now is to watch pop culture progress into better things and see how it can be changed as time passes by. Everything that we sense around the whole tells us how we live. Without pop culture, people would not know to look forward to in the future. It wouldn’t be a good idea to categorize pop culture as a reputation to people.
