Over design of the new Titanic and other

Over a decade has passed since the tragic sinking of the world’s ‘unsinkable’ ship that has set forth it’s journey from Southampton to New York City across the North Atlantic Ocean in 1912. The RMS Titanic, or mostly known as the Titanic, which was the largest ship at that time, sank after it hit an iceberg. Consequently, over 1,500 people have died including both passengers and crew members and only 705 have survived. Till today, this famous shipwreck has set groundworks for us in terms of safety regulations, engineering and material design to prevent such disasters. In this paper, the flaws and design failures that lead to the sinking of the Titanic will be discussed as well as what implementations have been to the design of the new Titanic and other ship in general.
