Bifidobacterium Longum
-Bifidobacterium longum is present in the gastrointestinal tract and it is a gram-positive bacterium that consists of a thick peptidoglycan layer. Classified as an Actinobacteria, under order bifidobacterial, phylum actinobacteria. These bacteria can be extracted and grown/cultured to produce medicine. It belongs to the group called lactic acid bacteria found in probiotics fermented food products such as dairy products.
HEALTH BENEFITS
-Boosts immunity, by combating infections (decreasing the chances of influenza and fever), also beneficial by working against candida.
