My Goals Came Into Play Essay

It was just a dark night in a ranch style on the outskirts of Watertown, South Dakota. This is the place where my family still lives today. We had a regular daily routine when I was younger. At about nine o’clock, my family washed up for bed. The only problem was keeping me and my brothers in bed asleep. So my parents had devised a scheme. The plan was to tell us bed time stories until we had settled down. Otherwise we would have had the house in an uproar until eleven. Luckily this plan had an even greater good out of it. Let me just say the first time did the trick. We passed out before the story was even finished. Later on I grew intently curious about how to read. Where it came to a point, I would be trying to read along with my parents. After a long period of repetition of the same old books, I was able to catch on. …rticle goes over how the public, over time had degraded their educational standards and slowed down the learning processes. In its executive summary and in its introduction it points out how Americans do not know how to write or read properly anymore. The second main important piece of knowledge I read in the class was called National English Association’s To Read or Not to Read. It has the general study of how people after high school quit reading all together. It also compares the present-day students to the past before the No Child Left behind Act. I believe that the information does seem to make sense because our intelligence is dwindling. I happen to be one of those dwindling factors. I do not have a proper study of Edited American English. That’s the thing about education even when I thought there was no reason to expand, my goals came into play.
