Last year was an awful year for me

Last year was an awful year for me, I went into a lot of trouble that caused me to face my own consequences for my own bad decisions. I’m ———– and I’m 15 years old, my family is consisting of 5 people; my parents, my elder brother who is 18 years, my younger brother who is 14 years old and me, the only girl who is stuck in the middle. At the beginning of last year, I had so much fun joining parties, going to my friends’ houses and meeting up for lunch. However, one day when I was at a party, I had met this girl who is called Anna. Anna goes to a different school than I do, the school that I go to ——— School. After a while, I started to meet Anna a lot more lately, my mum told me that I should stay away from her because she is a bad influence to me, but obviously I did not believe what she said and I did not listen to her. After hanging out and meeting up a bunch of times, Anna had become my new best friend. My mum never liked her and she never will. I did not know what it was but to my mum’s eyes, Anna seemed like an outrageous girl that will end up getting you into trouble and ditching you for their mistakes. In the middle of last year, I my grade levels started to go down and my attitude had entirely changed against everyone, but I did not notice what I have been up to. One day, Anna came to one of my school’s windows, she told me to run away with her, but I did not recognise her wrong actions and I did not know what to do, excluding she insistence, I could not say anything but yes. It was my first time running away from school, if my parents knew that I even attempted it, I would be grounded for my entire life. While Anna and I got away, we decided to go to a cafe?, and subsequent that, we went to the mall. We agreed that we will not take up a long time at the mall so that I would not be late for my school dismissal (which is at 2:45pm). After a couple of hours walking around in the mall and messing around, we decided to go up to the food court and have a small lunch. We did not really buy anything at the mall we just hung out together. On that same day, there was a school trip going on, alternatively, this trip was at the same mall that I was in, but I forgot all about it. After a while, I heard someone was calling my name, someone that sounded familiar, so I turned to see who was calling me and I was shocked when I saw whom it was. No, how could I have forgotten about this trip? It was the only fun thing that this school has ever arranged for us. It was my teacher! When I found out that my teacher was the one who was calling I immediately turned around, ran on the opposite direction and hoped she thought it was another random girl in the mall. As I was running, I felt like it was the end of my life because if my parents knew where I have been at this time, then I’m dead! I grabbed Anna by her hand motioning for her to run faster and unlock her car’s doors. When we got in, she drove heading to my school as fast as she could, I knew that we were going to get into so much trouble, so I was ready to take the punishment for my silly decision that I made. The moment I arrived to school, it was 1:30pm, I sprinted and entered the school from my class’ window, but it was too late because when one of the teachers caught me sneaking in, she called the receptionist to report my action of skipping school. The school called my parents, they came as soon as they heard of what happened. I told them the whole story and stated who convinced me to run away, at that moment, I stopped and I realized that Anna was truly what my mum thought of. She was not a good friend at all because not only did she not care when she saw my teacher spotting me, but also, she left me alone. I took the whole blame to myself because of her, I got punished and I got expelled for three days from school. I had to write a 3-paged essay about the dangers of running away and I had to research about it and everything.
