In Thoreau’s “Where I lived and What I lived for”

In Thoreau’s “Where I lived and What I lived for”, his ideas are stated clearly in this piece of writing. We learn about his experiences at Walden Pond and also the way he sees life, which he shares with the audience through the passage. In his eyes, life should be a life where everything is calm and peaceful and the surrounding life should be appreciated. Thoreau’s main purpose in the text is to tell readers what an ideal lifestyle is. He believes that life should be simple and adds that there is no need to be in a rush all the time and rush life. We must live in unison with nature itself.
To illustrate, Thoreau believes that living a simple life where the life around us is appreciated in greater detail. It was in this cabin in the woods where he thought of most of the thoughts used in this passage.
