In sociology, multiculturalism is the idea that various cultures exist in a society and all these cultures deserve equal treatment.
It usually refers to the simple fact of cultural diversity.
I believe multiculturalism is important because it encourages dialogue and understanding between ethnic and social groups.
Meeting and appreciating people of different ethnic groups, learning about other cultures enriches our lives and cultivates us .
Ignorance of other people can create ignorant fear, suspicion and make people harm each other for lack of information.
Multiculturalisma also engages being fair to one another. Thus any country must give equal access to its services to any ethnic groups.
