It is a loan guarantee program which has started to increase the availability of loans to farmers and agricultural co-operatives.

$500,000 for the purchase of land and the construction or improvement of buildings.
$350,000 for all other loan purposes, including consolidation/refinancing.
Lenders, such as banks, credit unions and caisses populaires, issue and administer loans are under the CALA program.

Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE)
OCE provides the support to many innovative companies throughout the Ontario.
It has a big hand behind accelerating the Ontario’s economy by creating new jobs, products, services and technologies for them.
By doing partnership with this industry, it co-invests for the marketing of the innovation originates in the province’s colleges, universities etc.

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP), Connect Canada and Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) are federal partners helping OCE to fulfill their client services efficiently and effectively.
They distribute a team of experienced 40 person team of business development managers to all corners of the province.

Health Entrepreneurship and Lifestyle Xchange (HELIX)
HELIX helps to develop the entrepreneurial mindset. They achieve this by providing knowledge, mentorship, sessions, workspace and experiential opportunities.
HELIX focuses on two important outcomes:
The development and launch of successful, sustainable, young entrepreneur ventures.
Helps to developing the entrepreneurial mind set to allow participants to become intrapreneurs and innovate from within companies.
The HELIX space is physically located at Seneca’s Newnham campus but it runs programs at the other Seneca campuses, as well as in the broader Toronto and York Region community.
The two stage HELIX program starts with the INNOVATION Strand, which is a series of entrepreneurial workshops and sector-specific support activities like:
Ideation
Business model canvas
Customer validation
Pitch development
The next step is the ACCELERATION Strand; it will provide the opportunity to get the support, enrolment in HELIX incubation activities and mentorship. Some of the supports includes:

Links to the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem
It is free for all students and provides a platform where they develop their entrepreneurial skills and acquire an experiential working with the real clients by discussing some real life problems with them within just two weeks.
HELIX also provides a summer program, in which students will be able to develop the critical- thinking skills and they train them to be flexible in order to adjust with the constantly changing business world.
