During and after the 2016 US elections it was alleged that the elections process was interfered by Russia. Due to the alleged Russia’s interference the presidential election investigator were issued to look into president Donald Trumps’ campaign. During the investigation of there were major concerns about the fear of rival power influencing the results of the elections and the overall security of the electoral process. Other the other hand Russia denied being involved in the 2016 U.S elections. But the US held their ground by with counter claims that the attacks on the election process was cyber attack crime. The investigators found out that former campaign advisors and election officials have lied to the federal agents about their relations and communications between the Russian nationals. Therefore, the investigators prompted these former campaign advisors and elections officials to plead guilty for all their lies to the federal agents. This paper will focus on reviewing the cyber ethics and moral issues which revolved around Russian’s interference in the 2016 U.S elections and the consequent retaliation by the United States.
