Broken home is actually a reality that has enough negative implications for the development of a healthy personality, although we recognize the role of the environment in individual development. However, the broken home factor seems to play a significant role in some studies.
In healthy family relationships, the values of interpersonal subjectivity must recognize each other. If not, the interpersonal relationship both becomes deteriorated and causes a break in the family. That way, both partners have overstated the ego’s capacity alone. On the other hand, Freud in his psychoanalysis cites the importance of harmony between id, ego, and superego functions in order to create a healthy interpersonal relationship. This is what should be in the relationship of a harmonious family.
