Ghanaian road construction project is one of the example of poor project planning. The main reasons for bad project planning is because of delay from the expected finish date and cost overruns during the construction project. Another cause of the failure of the road projects in Ghana is due to limited budgeted cost from both the Government and the road agencies as the most important factor influencing project cost overrun.
