The possibility of integrating informal businesses is possible with strict regulations an d management system as in Singapore as it is lucrative business for Kenya’s economy and employment giver for the low earning society. ? The need to register all hawkers and provide licencing is necessary to know the numbers Nairobi is dealing with in order t o plan for allocation of business spaces.

? The acceptance of Nairobi residence reliance on the informal business for their convenience. RECOMMENDATIONS ON HAWKING WITHN THE TERMINUS. ? Provision of ample space for informal businesses to operate within the t erminus without interfering with other operations. ? Sign provision for hawker stalls to create identity for permanent structured businesses. ? Provision of necessary services and organisational groups and associations making it easier pass on formal communica tion between authorities and the business men.

AREA FOR FURTHER STUDY. This research was based on integration of informal businesses within transit terminus. During my study it came to my attentio n that informal businesses are present in most if not all pares o the urban centre and also in residential areas. This gives room from for further study in this field. This study also dealt with relationship between informal businesses and commuter experience. There is also need to study the relationship between formal and informal businesses in relation to a transit terminus.
