Euthanasia debate on euthanasia has been going

Euthanasia is one of the most controversial topics in the medical scene, and the debate on euthanasia has been going on for a very long time.

Euthanasia comes from the Greek word ‘eu’ meaning good and ‘thanatos’ meaning death. According to Merriam Webster’s Dictionary (2018), Euthanasia is the act or practice of killing or permitting the death of hopelessly sick or injured individuals in a relatively painless way for reasons of mercy. The word “Euthanasia” was first used in a medical context in the 17th century by “Francis Bacon” when he referenced to an easy death or painless and satisfying death, when it was their duty to make the people who suffered feel relaxed or stop suffering anymore. But is Euthanasia considered a crime or not? Is it legal to end a life of a person in order to prevent from further suffering more?
