Your throat can also be inflamed, and it might sometimes look like there’s small pumps on the back of it. If It’s not treated right away, it can lead to complications like rheumatic fever and kidney inflammations. Strep Throat is mainly common in children, but anyone can be affected. This bacterial infection is highly contagious and spreads rapidly through air and human contact. Constantly being around big crowds like in schools can increase the chances of you contracting strep throat.
